The victim has been identified as truck driver Sunil Praza,25, of Dhusa VDC -1, Dhading, said Constable Som Tamang of Dhading District Police Office. [break]
The incident took place when a truck, Na 4 Kha 2170, was heading to Kathmandu from Dhusa VDC this morning.
The reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained.
The body has been taken out of the truck which had submerged into the Trishuli river, with its upper part slightly visible.
The owner of the truck is Lila Bahadur Thapaliya of Dusa VDC-1 of Dhading district.
A team of 25 police personnel - from Gajuri Area Police Office, Benighat Police Post and Jogimara Police Post - has been deployed to the incident site.
According to Constable Tamang, the body will be taken to Gajuri hospital for postmortem after a site report.
