The clash took place at 3 a.m. today. Twenty-eight years old Nara Bahadur Khatri, an NC cadre of Khagenkot-7 was injured in a khukuri knife attack in the clash. He was reportedly attacked by UML cadre Dhana Bahadur Chadara.[break]
Following the attack, cadres of the Nepali Congress Khagenkot Village Unt and the Nepal Tarun Dal, the party´s youth wing, took four UML cadres under their control and locked them at an NC cadre´s house. Khagenkot is two hour´s trek from the nearest police station at Maide.
