Four killed in separate Chitwan road accidents

CHITWAN, Oct 29: Four people have lost their lives in two separate road accidents in the district on Monday night.



Two persons died on the spot when a mini truck, Na 4 Kha 1753, heading to Kathmandu from Narayangadh veered off the road and fell some 40 meters down onto the bank of the Trishuli River at Kabilas VDC, said Police Inspector Jiblal Chudali. [break]



The killed have been identified as mini truck driver Mahendra Bamjan, 28, of Lele, Lalitpur and his helper Krishna Thing, 20, of Makawanpur district.

The dead bodies have been kept at  Bharatpur hospital for postmortem.



Meanwhile, two bikers died on the spot, after a tractor, Na 2 Kha 1221 en-route to Hetauda from Narayangadh hit their motorcycle in Chainpur VDC in the district.



The victims are identified as Ram Sharan Chaudhary, 22, of Kathar, Chitwan and the pillion rider Amar BK of Bachhauli, said Chudali.



Police have taken hold of the tractor driver and investigating into the case.
