KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu organized a function at the embassy to mark the country's 70th Independence Day.

On the occasion, Mazhar Javed, ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, hoisted the national flag. In a message delivered on the Independence Day, President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain said that the Pakistani government has adopted sound policies to improve economy, which has created better business environment, leading to an increase in opportunities for domestic and international investment.
Foreign investors are increasingly turning to Pakistan for investment. These developments augur well for Pakistan's economic future which testifies that new possibilities and opportunities are unfolding for Pakistan, he said.
