ICA to host ‘Bharat Mahotsav’ on 70th Indian Independence Day

KATHMANDAU, Aug 10: The Indian Citizens' Association (ICA) of Nepal, a union of resident Indian citizens living in Nepal,  in association with the Embassy of India, Kathmandu is hosting a cultural-dance-food festival 'Bharat Mahotsav' to celebrate 70 years of India's Independence.

KATHMANDAU, Aug 10: The Indian Citizens' Association (ICA) of Nepal, a union of resident Indian citizens living in Nepal,  in association with the Embassy of India, Kathmandu is hosting a cultural-dance-food festival 'Bharat Mahotsav' to celebrate 70 years of India's Independence.


The cultural program called ‘Barata Mahotsav’ has been scheduled for August 11. It will take place on the premises of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu from 11 am onwards, said a pressnote issued by the Embassy today.

The program will be inaugurated by the Ambassador of India to Nepal Shri Manjeev Puri.


A 30 member Kinkini dance troupe from Kolkata, India along with the students from DAV School will entertain the participants with their performance in the program.


Besides, students of Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Kathmandu will have an exhibition stall.
