Bikas Ale scored the only goal as Army School edged past Gandaki Boarding School of Pokhara 1-0 to top Group B and enter the quarterfinals. Karmeshwar of Kailali thrashed Apple Academy of Kathmandu 5-0 to join Army in the last eight as the group runner-up. Suresh Kumar Chaudhary and Kamal Deuba scored a brace each and Prajesh Raji added another for Karmeshwar.
In the girls´ section, Tops Higher Secondary School of Pokhara and Apple Academy of Kathmandu won their respective matches on Monday.
Tops beat Singhadevi Higher Secondary School of Morang 2-0 with goals from Bimala Chaudhary and Nisha Pahadi. Likewise, Apple thrashed Modern Indian School of Kathmandu 8-0. Elisa Shahi completed a hat-trick for Apple while Laxmi Lama, Amrita Rai, Samana Maharjan, Krishna Kumari Karki and Sanchita Rana were also on target.
