DDC awards boothmen

KATHMANDU: Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) -- the state owned dairy producer -- has felicitated 38 best performing booth men. According to a press statement, Siya Ram Parsad Singh, general manager of DDC, handed over bicycles to 38 booth men amid a function on Friday. [break]

The cycle will not only help increase the business of booth men but will also motivate them, the statement added. DDC manufactures around 135,000 liters of milk a day from its ISO 22000:2005 certified plant.
