Seven injured in Chitwan road mishap

CHITWAN, Sept 5: As many as seven people were injured in a collission between a microbus and a truck at Kurintar in Chitwan district this morning.



The accident took place when a microbus (Ga.1 Kha. 2460) heading to Kathamandu from Gorkha and a truck (Na. 4 Kha. 9710) heading to Chitwan from Kathmandu collided with each other at Kurintar on Thursday morning.[break]



Out of the seven injured, critically injured two were rushed to the Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment while the rest are being treated at local clinics, said the Kurintar Area Police Office.



Police have arrested drivers of both vehicles who were found driving after drinking alcohol and started investigation in this connection.
