KATHMANDU, July 26: Vice President Parmananda Jha continued his office even as the apex court on Friday nullified the oath he took last year, saying that the oath taken in Hindi was unconstitutional.

Officials at the Vice President´s Office said he arrived at the office at 11:30 a.m. and stayed there till office hours. He kept himself busy meeting party leaders, journalists and other well-wishers. While majority of constitutional experts have said that Jha no longer holds the post of vice president, his lawyers have said that President Dr Ram Baran Yadav should formally speak up about the apex court verdict.
