Police arrest an Indian national with fake Indian currency

BIRATNAGAR, Aug 14: Police have arrested an Indian national along with notes of Indian rupees 250,000, which is banned in Nepal, from Biratnagar Airport.



The arrested is Suresh Singh Kushbaha, 45, of Madhya Pradhes in India.Police seized 150 Indian notes of Rs. 1,000 denomination and 200 notes of Rs. 500 denomination from Kushbaha.[break]



According to Chief of the Airport Security Post, Sub-Inspector Kumar Shrestha, Kushbaha was arrested from Biratnagar Airport while he was to fly to Kathmandu by Buddha Air.



The arrested has been sent to the District Police Office, Morang, for investigation and necessary action.
