The deceased was identified as Hira Tamang, 40, of Tasarpur VDC-9 of Dhading district, said the District Police Office, Makawanpur. [break]
He died when a truck (Na. 3 Kha 6249) heading to Hetauda from Kathmandu knocked him on the road.
Police have arrested truck driver Govinda Bishwokarma of Bhaise VDC-3 of Makawanpur from Hetauda this morning for further action, police said.
