KATHMANDU, June22: Ministry of Irrigation has formed a team of 7 members to monitor the flood and landslide that heavy rainfall has started triggering.
According to Minister for Irigation Umesh Yadav, team has been formed under a coordination of Deputy Director General of Department of Water Induced Disaster Prevention, Pradip Pathak.
To discuss over the recently triggered Floods and Landslides Minister Yadav had called a meeting in ministry, among Gajendra Thakur, Secretary of Ministry of Irrigation, Director General of Department of Irrigation Ramananda Yadav and Niranjan Dev Pandey of Department of Water Induced Disaster Prevention, where he formed a monitoring team.
