KATHMANDU, June 10: Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada has said that the inflation would be below five per cent in the coming fiscal year.
Responding to queries raised by MPs at the National Assembly today, he said the economic growth rate would be above seven percent in the current fiscal year, with all the States likely to record more than six percent of growth.
Stating that the matter of distribution of natural resources was yet to be concluded, he said that many integrated programs have been introduced in agriculture sector.
The finance minister also said that the concessional foreign aid should be utilized and spent well to decrease the dependency by increasing revenue. The National Assembly will meet again on coming June 17.
