Every day Nepali worries that he will end up washing dishes his whole life as there is no one to finance his higher education.
Born into poverty, Nepali completed his school-level studies from a community school.
"It pains me to think about higher studies because there is no way my family can finance it. I just hope I´ll meet a benefactor,” said Nepali, talking to Republica.
Nepali scored 67 percent in the SLC with 63 in English, 76 in Nepali, 65 in Science, 64 in Social science, 56 in health science and environment, 72 in economics and 78 in an optional subject.
Nepali has lived in the house of his mother´s parents ever since his father threw him out when he was just nine.
Hopes of earning more money and pursuing higher studies brought him to Kusham after his SLC.
Nepali, who wants to study management if he gets the chance, has both parents living and a brother and a sister, but no one ever comes looking for him.
"If I don´t work here I will starve," he said.
