BUTWAL, May 30: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal Chairman Kamal Thapa said on Thursday he is doubtful as to whether the new elections will be held in November later this year.

Speaking at a Reporters Club Nepal in Bhairahawa today, Thapa said the current government’s inability to announce the poll date till now has fueled a doubt about the conduction of new elections in the stated time. [break]

Thapa was of the opinion that free and fair elections are not possible unless the domination of the four major political parties ends and said the four-party mechanism should be scrapped. He further said constitutional monarchy and Nepal as a Hindu state will be his party’s main agenda for the elections.
