HETAUDA, Sept 26: A rickshaw puller died on the spot when a Hetauda-bound truck knocked him down at Jyamire of Manahri in Makawanpur district along the Hetauda-Narayangadh road section today.
Kabiram KC, 55, of Manahari-7 in the district was initially hit by a bus (Na 5 kha 1816) en route to Pokhara from Janakpur. Thrown into the air following the hit, KC was rammed by a truck (Na 5 Kha 7803) coming from Bharatpur, Chitwan, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur.

The passenger of the rickshaw, Krishna Prasad Dhungana, 50, of Manahari-7 in the district was critically hurt in the incident. He was sent to Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment.
Police have impounded the bus and the truck involved in the accident. RSS
