According to police, those arrested are Arbin Rai, Gautam Rai, Puran Chaudhary of Itahari-5, Bijaya Kumar Raya of Biratnagar and Ramchandra Khawas and Sita Khawas of Haraicha, Morang.[break]
The arrests were made acting on an intelligence tip-off. Police have also recovered explosives and some documents related to the outfit´s activities from them.
Police have also held Kedar Dahal and Hari Acharya of an Itahari-based printing press for helping the KSJM cadres to print their pamphlets.
Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Ramesh Phuyal said details regarding the arrests would be made public, later on, organizing a press conference. The police official also said investigation into the case is underway.
On December 3, the bomb placed at Chaurasta Chowk in Itahari had gone off, injuring five people including Sunsari superintendent of police (SP) Raju Manandhar.
