The Darmakot area of Salyan and Nuwakot of Rukum was the epicentre of the earthquake that damaged some houses in the area but no human casualty was reported.
A house used by Nepal Police next to the Salle airport in Khalanga-2 was damaged, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prasad Bhatta.
Likewise, many houses in Nuwakot, Kholghaon and Purtimakada of Salyan have suffered cracks as a result of the tremor.
The tremor was felt in neighboring districts Salyan, Jajarkot, Dang, Rolpa and Gulmi district too.
