Attended by a large number of outbound tour operators who sell Nepal, the interaction program promoted and projected Nepal as a pristine and happening destination, states a press release issued by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) on Saturday.
Addressing the function, Paul Tse, a member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong SAR, praised the beauty of Nepal and stressed that political stability was a must for tourism development. Lauding the effort made by the consulate, he said he would visit Nepal soon.
Ronnie Ho, the chairman of Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong, recalled his visit to Nepal 10 years ago and said Nepal had everything that a tourism destination should have. However, he said safety and security were vital components to lure more tourists to Nepal.
