A police team of 45 personnel led by Police Inspector Keshar Bahadur Karki, including armed police, released Rakeshranjan Singh, 40, of Raghopur of Chiraiya Thana in Motihari of India hidden in the house of Janak Sahani of Pattarhathi VDC- 7 at 10:00 pm on Saturday night. [break]
Those arrested are Janak Sahani, 70, of Pattarhathi-7, his son Panchalal Sahani, 23, Shesh Nath Kurmi, 33, of Matihani -7 of Parsa and Dinanath Das Tatma, 60, of Raxaul, India.
Police also impounded their two motorcycles and two sharp-edged weapons. They had abducted him on January 30 while coming to Bhatiarba of Nepal from India.
