URLABARI Jan 22 : A worker died when a drum filled with gas exploded at Belbari Municipality-11 in Morang district on Tuesday morning. 

The deceased has been identified as Manish Baraili, 37, working at Basnet grill factory, said Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Belbari, Ram Kumar Rai. The incident took place when the drum filled with gas exploded in course carrying out welding. Critically injured Baraili died while undergoing treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital, said Police. 

Meanwhile, Sagar Mansuri, 50, of Chandrapur municipality-9 in Rautahat district died when the tractor heading towards Rautahat from Bardibas over turned at Banke jungle of Mahottari district along east-west highway. 

Mansuri was tractor driver. Similarly, Binod Ram, 21, of Chandrapur municipality-9 was injured in the incident. Binod has been sent to Kathmandu for treatment, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Mahottari, Khagendra Bahadur Khadka.
