According to the company, the new Internet service will be technologically on par with the services provided by other leading Internet service providers in the country.
Dileep Agrawal, managing director and chairman of the company, said customers will get Internet package of 20 GB per month at Rs 1,100. “If the customers finish 20 GB before a month, they will still get unlimited internet package of 128 kbps for the remaining days," Agrawal said, adding: "If they use less than 20 GB, the volume will be transferred to the next month,” said Agrawal.[break]
According to Agrawal, customers can enjoy high speed Internet experience through which they can carry out video conferencing smoothly. Besides, customers can see online movies and videos without buffering, he added.
Customers, however, will have to pay Rs 3,000 as installation charge.
According to the company, the service will be initially available in some areas of Kathmandu and Lalitpur and will be extended to other areas gradually.
“With the introduction of this new service, we are planning to increase 30,000 customers,” said Agrawal.
Currently Worldlink Communications have 20,000 customers. The company is also planning to launch Internet Protocol TV (IPTV) service soon.
