Two killed in Kalimati bus mishap

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: Two people have been killed and as many seriously  injured when a minibus heading to Kalimati from Kalanki met with an accident at Soltimod at around  on Friday morning.



The deceased have been identified as Bijay Gurung of Okhaldhunga, the assistant driver, and Prakash Panta, 20, of Gorkha.[break]



Panta breathed his last at Bir Hospital during the course of his treatment.



An injured Manoj KC, 40, of Naikap, Kathmandu, is undergoing treatment at the same hospital whereas Binu Pokhrel, 28, a Nepal Army staffer, is undergoing treatment at Chhauni-based army hospital.



The ill-fated bus (Ba 3 Kha 985) lost control after it hit the road divider.
