A local Maya Chaudhari said some 250 huts of the ex-kamaiyas from Sagarapur and Bagarapur of the VDC were burned down by the locals.
The locals damaged the huts with fire as the ex-kamaiyas did not abandon the settlement as per the all-party agreement reached 15 days ago.
After the fire, the ex-kamaiys are homeless.
