KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a one-on-one meeting with the visiting Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Thursday.
It is learnt that the two prime ministers dwelled on the issues of existing bilateral relations and various ways to further expand bilateral ties. This the first official visit of the Cambodian prime minister to Nepal.
Oli's Chief Political Advisor Bishnu Rimal told Republica Online that the two prime ministers held one-on-one meeting at Hotel Dwarika today evening. Rimal, however, did not divulge the details of the meeting.
Earlier today, the two prime ministers also held delegation-level talks. During the talks, a wide range of issues pertaining to Nepal-Cambodia relations were discussed, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "The two prime ministers expressed happiness on friendly relations existing between the two countries," the press release added.
Also today, Nepal and Cambodia signed four bilateral agreements in an effort to further enhance bilateral ties. The two sides reached the agreements following the bilateral talks between the two prime ministers.

Prime Minister Oli also hosted dinner in honour of the high-powered Cambodian delegation led by Prime Minister Hun Sen.
Earlier, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali called on Prime Minister Hun Sen. During the meeting, matters relating to further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed, the ministry added.
