On Friday, President Yadav had called on the political parties to come up with an appropriate proposal to form a new government within the next seven days as political parties have failed to form consensus on various issues including government formation despite his utmost effort.

The SC meeting has also decided to hold talks with other political parties at the earliest to forge consensus on name of new prime minister and new cabinet.

Meanwhile, the meeting has also called a meeting of party politburo members for Monday and Tuesday to discuss on latest political development and party´s new strategies.
