CHITWAN, Sept 9: A truck fell off the road into the Trishuli river at Ghoptebhir in Darechowk VDC-3 along the Prithivi highway this morning.
The registration number plate and the noodles/biscuits packets that the truck was carrying have been found but the truck is missing, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.
The truck (Na3Kha 6017) was heading towards Kathmandu from Muglin when the incident took place at around 10:45 am today, police said.
The truck fell some 120 meters into the river below.
Nothing is yet known about the occupants of the truck while a search is underway, Chief of Chitwan Police SP Basant Kunwar said. RSS
