CHITWAN, Nov 7: There are plans to develop ‘Meghauli Rhino Park’ in Meghauli, a popular tourist destination in Chitwan district. As per information given by tourism expert Biswa Raj Subedi, a detailed project report (DPR) is prepared for construction of the park that will cost estimated Rs 210 million.
CHITWAN, Nov 7: In view of the upcoming Visit Nepal Year 2020, the government is all set to complete the construction of an “umbrella street” alongside Rapti River in Patihani of Chitwan within this December. The under-construction street offers a spectacular sunset view. CHITWAN, June 23: A man injured in an attack by a tiger has died in course of treatment. Gangadhar Subedi of Kalyanpur in Madi municipality-6 died in course of treatment at the Bharatpur hospital on Saturday.
CHITWAN, June 15: After more than two years of the incident, Chitwan District Court on Thursday convicted Drona Bahadur Shiwakoti and Madhu Neupane for tearing up ballot papers during the election in Bharatpur Metropolis in 2017. Shiwakoti and Neupane – two cadres of the then CPN (Maoist Center) – were convicted for tearing up some of the ballots during vote counting in Ward 19.

The three-month-long joint study conducted by the Veterinary Hospital and Livestock Service Experts Centre, Chitwan and Chitwan Milk Producers' Cooperatives Association came up with this encouraging finding.
