SARLAHI, April 20: Two persons were killed on the spot in a road accident along the East-West Highway at Lalbandi Municipality-6.
The deceased have been identified as Shrawan Kumar Mahato of Gaushala Municipality-11 in Mahottari and his nephew Bikram Kumar Mahato, according to Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sarlahi, Naresh Raj Mahato.

The accident took place when a truck (Madhes Province 039001 Kha 815) heading towards Ranigunj from Lalbandi hit a motorcycle (Na 33 Pa 7513) going in the same direction. Shrawan was riding the motorcycle.
Police have arrested the truck driver and impounded both vehicles.
