BARA, Oct 22: A 40-year-old man of Bara district committed suicide after killing his two sons on Sunday. According to police, Surendra Ram of Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City hanged himself after killing his sons - Subin and Bipin. Inspector Subash Hamal informed Republica that the sons were aged three and five.
A preliminary investigation of police has revealed that Surendra's family members were suffering due to his alcohol consuming habit.
Surendra's wife had already abandoned him following repeated physical assaults. Surendra's mother, Muniya Ram, was taking care of his sons before he killed them.
All three dead bodies were taken to Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital, Birgunj for post-mortem.
