Speaking at a press meet organised by the Revolutionary Journalists´ Association, Dhanusha chapter on Friday, Minister Pun said the expansion of the construction of Janakpur-Jayanagar- Bardibas railway is taking place in a full-swing.[break]
The government was serious towards promoting the religious and historic importance of Janakpurdham in the international arena, said the finance minister pledging additional budget allocation for the construction of an international-level airport and a bus park in the town as well.
On different note, Minister Pun said the political parties are ready to go for fresh Constituent Assembly elections on the basis of consensus.
Responding to a query of journalists, the Finance Minister said a full-fledged budget could be brought only if a national consensus government is formed.
Meanwhile, addressing a program organized in his honour at Janakpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry today, he said the government was planning to come up with a package program for the overall development of Janakpur. He pledged all possible efforts to develop Janakpur as a ´model industrial zone´. Local business communities were also present on the occasion.
