Two died on the spot when the tractor (Sa 1 Ta 1215) overturned and one died while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan, the Eastern Regional Police Office Biratnagar said.
Pokhrel of Rampur Thoksila-2 and Shambhu Sadathe died on the spot, Udayapur District Police Office said. Meanwhile, Nir Bahadur Karki, who was traveling in the tractor, died in the course of his treatment at BPKIHS, Dharan on Saturday morning.
The tractor was bringing bricks to Rampur Thoksila from Udayapur.
Those injured in the mishap -- Jaya Karki of Rampur Thoksila and Lik Bahadur Khadka of Chisapani, Khotang -- are undergoing treatment in Dharan.
The driver is at large after the accident, and search for him is on, police said.
The bodies of the deceased have been kept in BPKIHS for post mortem, said the police.
