SOLUKHUMBU, April 5: A five year old in Lokhim village of Solukhumbu district has been reportedly raped on Saturday by a local Amrit Rai.

While the case is under investigation, preliminary report shows that the victim was raped in a jungle nearby her house in Lokhim - 1. The accused is 17 years old.
According to DSP Chandradev Rai, the victim's family had informed the police about the incident. "We are investigating the case," said DSP Rai. The accused has been taken to the district headquarters for interrogation, according to the police.
