Having played the role of antagonist in more than 70 Nepali movies, Umesh Khadka is surely one of the most recognized faces in the industry known for his intimidating roles.
He initiated his film journey with supporting roles. His career took a turn with the release of ‘Maya Na Mara’. Umesh has showcased his impeccable acting skills in movies like ‘Jeevan Daata’, ‘Gangajal’, ‘Jai Shiva Shankar’ and ‘Lootera’, among others. He is currently gearing up for his upcoming movies ‘Eklabya’ and ‘Kasur’.

Once a national volleyball player who tried out his shots in about 10 national games in five years, Umesh still remains a crazy fan of sports and spares his time to watch football, cricket and volleyball matches. He makes sure that he never misses out on football match by his favorite club Real Madrid.
An avid traveller
Having travelled across the country for both professional and personal purposes, places rich in history and with mythical stories charm Umesh the most. “Of all the places I have visited so far, I was captivated by Khotang’s Halesi Mahadev and Taplejung’s Pathivara Temple,” he said.
A health-conscious foodie
Although he is fond of spicy foods and ends up eating them in a huge amount, Umesh also makes sure to burn out his body fats through an hour-long jog every day. He takes pleasure in trying out various ways to lead a healthy and fit living.
A gadget lover
When it comes to owning new gadgets, Umesh is always on-the-go to get one. He currently owns an iPhone 6 and is gearing up to soon buy the iPhone 8. “Since apple is a leading brand and is well known for its anti-virus features, I have eagerly been looking forward to own iPhone 8 soon,” he said.

Umesh is specifically active on Facebook, which for him is a platform to socialize and express his ideas among people. He often spends his time online getting updated about the movie industry while also learning and sharing the health guidance and tips that he finds online.
