Yogesh Shrestha seems to be positive about it. He says that criticism should be seen as feedback and not harassment.[break]
“If it helps me do better l in my tasks, I’ll definitely welcome them,” says he.
For Rupak Raj Sunuwar, the way he takes criticism depends on who is giving it. He says, “If my friends criticize me, I’ll take them seriously. But I’ll also pass on sarcastic replies. However, if the criticism comes from someone I just met, that for me would lead to one of the worst case scenarios of offensive conversation wars,” he says, adding that criticism is a strong word. “The fact is that no one likes to be judged or criticized. Taking criticism constructively? That is just a hoax,” adds Sunuwar.

Sanjay Gegal says that although people often say they are open to criticisms, the matter of the fact is that in reality, they are only really seeking praises. Gegal claims that he’s different from those people.
“I take criticisms positively,” he says. Sometimes, when people are all praises, they may have some ulterior motives. Gegal thinks the same.
“People around you always praise you for their own self-interest. But a criticism, even from an unknown person, is always for your best interest,” he says, pointing out that one must take criticisms carefully.
Criticisms must be taken with caution.
“One needs to analyze the words spoken by the ‘critics.’ Among the bunch of people we meet, there are some who want to direct us towards the right path and thereby criticize us so that we can improve,” puts in Pujan Rijal. “Sad but true, there are some people in our vicinity who don’t want to miss a single opportunity to humiliate us and pull our legs. As an attempt to make us feel inferior and lessen the level of self-esteem within us, they criticize us.”
As for herself, she tries to improve herself when a well-wisher criticizes her and tends to ignore the criticisms thrown at her by people she isn’t in good relations with. “Simply speaking, I filter the words of criticism,” she adds.
There is always room for improvement, and this applies to everybody. We may have a tendency to overlook our faults or shortcomings, and in this case, criticisms will only help us become better.
However, there are people who overuse their freedom of speech and simply criticize to bring us down. But everyone should try and practice taking criticisms constructively.
