The TU teachers union on Tuesday padlocked the offices in order to exert pressure for fulfillment of eight-point demand including to implement the agreement signed on September 13, 2011, run academic activities according to TU calendar, settle the problems of the teachers appointed on a part time and contract basis among others.
Chairman of the Union Udaya Kishor Tiwari said they padlocked the offices of the TU senior officials demanding inclusive appointments in the vacant posts under the TU offices, increment of salary as per the ratio on price hiking among others.
