KATHMANDU, Sept 11: 47 days have elapsed since Nirmala Pant, 13, of Bhimdutta Municiaplity-2, of Kanchanpur district was found dead a day after she went missing. But the question that still looms large is: who is the culprit behind this heinous crime?

Sadly, police authorities, despite their commitment to book the guilty, have achieved precious little to trace the culprit yet, leaving human rights activists and ordinary public grossly disappointed with the way they are handling the case.
