He was undergoing treatment at the Model Hospital after a stroke of brain hemorrhage.[break]
Darshandhari was one of the members of the Ralfa movement along with Rayan and Ramesh, launched against the then Panchayat rule.
He is highly regarded for his contribution in the Nepali dance and theater through Charya dance and musical plays.He had also been a dance instructor in various organizations. Darshandhari is survived by his spouse, two daughters and two sons.
The last rites of the Darshandhari are scheduled to hold today at Pashupati Aryaghat.
