This is the only bridge to link the people of Dodhara Chandani to the district headquarters but the bridge was in a dilapidated condition due to lack of protection.[break]
Construction and maintenance of the bridge has just strated though the Suspension Bridge Repair Division of the Ministry of Local Development signed a contract paper with Masina Construction so a year ago.
However, the District Development Committee has said that no coordination was made with the DDC for the repair of the bridge though ownership lies to the DDC.
