PM urges MJF to help consensus bid

KATHMANDU, June 30: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai and Chairman of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal, Upednra Yadav discussed how the present political crisis would be tackled.



At the discussion held at the Prime Minister´s residence Saturday evening, Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai urged the MJF Chairman Yadav to help in his bid to forge national consensus.[break]



Although he was making continuous efforts from his sides to continue dialogues following the dissolution of the constituent assembly, other political parties were indifferent toward his effort, the PM said, according to his aide, Prashant Lamichhane.



Lamichhane further said the PM was of the view that he would not become an obstruction to the consensus.



On the occasion, MJF Chairman Yadav urged the Prime Minister to take initiative to forge national consensus and settle the disputes among the parties.



The Prime Minister, as the head of the government, had the major role to address the political crisis, Chairman Yadav stressed.
