"The government will release additional budget if necessary," said a UDMF leader on condition of anonymity.
Meanwhile, UDMF has called its meeting for Thursday to discuss strategy to pressure the government for the implementation of the Madhesi issues raised in the four-point agreement.
In a separate context, a central committee meeting of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum-Republican (MPRF-R), a constituent party of UDMF, on Tuesday decided to demand review of the Supreme Court verdict on Gupta.
The meeting entrusted MPRF-R General Secretary Atmaram Sah to make necessary preparation for seeking review of the apex court verdict.
"I will consult with lawyers in this regard within a day or two," said Sah.
The Supreme Court on February 21 had convicted Gupta of corruption after finding that he had accumulated property worth Rs 8.4 million through undisclosed sources after holding public office in different capacities from 1992 onward.
