BAITADI, Jan 3: Four Nepalis were among the six persons killed in a jeep accident at Lohaghat in Champawat district of India at around 3 pm on Sunday.
All the deceased Nepalis were from the same family. They were returning home in Nepal for a puja. The jeep, which was en route to Magala from Lohaghat fell off a cliff near Raulagawan.

The deceased Nepalis have been identified as Govinda Saud, 62, his brother Shiva Raj, his wife Gomati Devi, 57, her brother Basudev and her five-year-old cousin Ayush. They were residents of Dodhara, Chandani, Kanchanpur district.
Police informed that Govinda, Shiva Raj and Basudev died on the spot while Gomati breathed her last in the course of treatment.
The jeep had 16 passengers on board and 10 of them were injured in the incident. Six among the injured are Nepalis. They are receiving treatment at a local health center in Lohaghat.
