4 missing siblings found buried near home

MUGU, Nov 30: Four children of a family who had been reported missing since the last five days have been found dead and buried in a ground 100 meters from the home of the deceased in Hyanlu VDC of west Mugu.



Nanda Bahadur Rokaya, the father of the children--two boys and two girls--had filed complaint about the missing siblings at the district police station on Wednesday.

The bodies of nine-year-old Suntali Rokaya, six-year-old Yuvraj Rokaya, four-year-old Bipana Rokaya and two-year-old Deep Rokaya were recovered on Friday, according to the police.

The children were buried in one single pit, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Lok Bahadur GC. The police have detained the parents and grandmother of the dead children for further investigation.

"The children found dead within the surrounding of their home in mysterious condition shows that they were murdered before they were buried," claimed GC. 


A special team comprising of five police personnel from the district headquarters Gamgadhi have been asked to probe the case.
