4 aftershocks felt in 2 hours this morning

KATHMANDU, June 17: Four aftershocks rocked the central region of Nepal in the interval of two hours on Wednesday morning.

According to National Seismological Center, Lainchaur a 4.4-magnitude aftershock was recorded at 5:58 am with its epicenter in Kathmandu.


Similarly, 5.2-magnitude aftershock was felt at 6:14 am, 4-magnitude tremor was recorded at 6:26 am and 5.1-magitude tremor struck at 8 am with their epicenters in Sindhupalchowk.

As many as 324 aftershocks above 4 on the Richter scale have been recorded following the 7.6 earthquake with its epicenter in Barpak, Gorkha on April 25.
