4.7-magnitude aftershock rocks Dolakha

KATHMANDU, April 4: An aftershock of the April 25 Gorkha earthquake, measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale and with epicenter in Dolakha, was recorded at 10.16 this morning, the National Seismological Centre stated.

Before this, an aftershock of 4.0 on the Richter scale with epicenter in Sindhupalchok was recorded on March 31.So far 444 aftershocks measuring 4 or above on the Richter scale have been recorded after the April 25 Gorkha Earthquake, Chief at the National Seismological Centre, Lok Bijaya Adhikari, said.
