Japanese envoy calls on NC leader Paudel

KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Kunio Takahashi met parliamentary party leader of the main opposition party Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Paudel at the latter´s residence in Bohoratar in the Capital on Tuesday morning.



The two held talks on the progress that has been made in the implementation of the seven-point agreement signed by major political parties for peace and constitution writing processes, informed NC leader Paudel. [break]



During the meeting, NC leader Paudel briefed the Japanese envoy about the progress on peace and constitution writing.



It is said they also discussed promotion of relationship between the two countries and sharing the experiences.
