Chinese team visits heritage site in Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR, Nov 6: A Chinese delegation, which is on a four-day visit to Nepal, visited the heritage site of Bhaktapur district, on Sunday morning.



The team, comprising of 20 members, and headed by Politburo member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Liu Qi, visited various heritages of the district, including Durbar Square, Panchtale Temple (five-storied temple), Taumadhi Square and Dattatraya Temple.[break]



Officials at the Bhaktapur Municipality had welcomed the team.



Security was tightened and nobody was allowed to enter the heritage site except the chiefs of office of the district, during their visit.
