KATHMANDU, Feb 22: The Sajha Yatayat has finalized preparations to commence a new technology-supported payment and ticketing services in its public buses.
According to acting CEO of the Sajha Yatayat (Transport) Mahendra Pandey, Sajha is launching the e-ticketing with the coordination of Nepal Rastra Bank. The passengers may use the card like ATM card to pay transport fare.
The e-ticketing service, which is for all buses run by Sajha Yatayat to and from different parts, will start soon, it is said.
After the launching of the new payment and ticketing service, passengers will be directly benefited. The Sajha now has 46 buses in operation. Of them 44 are in the Kathmandu valley and two others in outside the valley. RSS
