Taking seriously the resignation of senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba from the central working committee, the meeting suggested to Koirala to take initiatives to bridge the growing differences between the party establishment and the Sher Bahadur Deuba faction. [break]
"He will directly talks with Deuba and disscuss possible solution to the controversy," said a senior leader close to Koirala after the meeting of officebearers.
In the meantime, leaders close to Deuba held a meeting at the latter´s residence to chalk out their fututure strategies in the aftermath of Deuba´s resignation.
"We are holding a meeting of district presidents after Dashain," said NC leader Bimalendra Nidhi, who is close to Deuba, after the meeting.
