Tulsipur, April 27: Prisoners in Tulsipur jail shouted slogans against the policemen deployed for the jail security and padlocked the main gate of the jail on Sunday, accusing the security men of barring the relatives of the inmates from meeting them and ignoring the treatment of sick prisoners.
The jail has 80 inmates including 27 former policemen who were dismissed from job on charge of mutiny last year. The environment inside the jail remained tense for sometime during the protests.
